OUR SERVICES
Therapeutic Interventions is a licensed and accredited child-placing agency headquartered in Nashville with a regional office in Cookeville. Since 1997, we have been helping Tennessee's children in need find loving and supportive families. We recruit and train foster parents, as well as provide therapeutic case management, family reunification, and adoption services for children and families.
Our Children
We work with children aged birth to eighteen years who are in state custody due to abuse and neglect and/or unruly or delinquent behaviors. We work with individual children as well as sibling groups and teenage mothers and their children. Most of our children need a temporary home until their families are able to regain custody, but we also provide adoption services for children available for adoption.
Therapeutic Foster Care
Most children in state custody will eventually be reunited with their birth parents or another relative. These children need a safe, loving and supportive environment until their families are able to resume care and custody. tii works with the children, foster family and birth family to get needed services so that reunification can be achieved.
Foster To Adopt
Sometimes the children we serve enter full guardianship; they become in need of forever families because their birth families' parental rights have been surrendered or terminated. Therapeutic Interventions work to provide case management and adoption counseling for these children prior to the finalization of the adoption.
